Also by focusing on finesse you'll have Elemental Arrows deal good magic damage when you need it so you get a bit more flexibility. The only usefulness here from the necro spells that I can think of is Bone Widow, without points into summoning it's just decent. Your basic attack will end up doing more damage than mosquito swarm, infect and decay touch. Since you will be maxing finesse here, your damage will mostly come from basic attacks, spells won't be needed as hunter skills are enough. All your damage will come from Blood Storm and Grasp of the Starved later on so I believe you won't be using your bow much. All of this provided you are maxing warfare first instead of huntsman, and putting points into int instead of finesse. ![]() You can potentially deal some damage with Elemental Arrowheads on blood. Combine it with Elemental Affinity since it's already an elf and you can spam your spells. You want to basic attack when your spells are on cooldown. the necro spells are to help out with physical damage once the enemies have been frozen with their ice spells (or if the enemies resist water). hydro allows you to heal both your own party and damage undeads. I'm currenly using a two handed melee, a ranger and two clerics (hydro and necro). it gives access to netherswap (allowing you to switch places with someone else), teleport and uncanny evasion I personally find aero on melee guys to be much more useful. its just a case of levelling warfare along with the other magic school (necro skills deal physical damage so get a boost off of warfare) you also have to heavily invest in necro to get any meaningful heals from damage you do.Ī necro healer can work though since the damaging skills scale off of int, like normal magic does. in other words, if you're getting slaughtered, it won't help you. bone cage for example is useless unless you can draw from corpses in the area. ![]() Necro utility skills are very situational. the AI will target the weakest character it can reach and ignore the tank completely. either have 2 physical and 2 magical guys or have all 4 doing the same type of damage by this I mean, do not try to have physical and magical damage on the same character as it nerfs your damage output.Īlso having only one mage is pointless as they won't be able to punch through magic armour alone. The cat will move once the magisters infront of the main gate go away.Īs for your other questions, do NOT mix damage.
